Mrs. Dawn T. “Mai” Schrader, age 54, passed away early Monday morning, March 27, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born July 28, 1951 to Phan and Tron (Lee) Truong in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to this area in 1972. She had worked at Acutex in Whitehall, and also owned Video Movies Unlimited in Muskegon. Mai did everything for her children and grandchildren whom she dearly loved. She was married to Robert L. Schrader, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2004. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Michael (fiancée Lindsay Llewellyn) Johnson of Muskegon, Michelle (Chad Richardson) Johnson of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Avolynne, Maci, and Emily; 1 brother, Can (Hoa) Truong of Arlington Heights, IL; 1 sister, Hang Truong of Saigon, Vietnam; and her dog, Daisy. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave.,(231) 726-5210 with Rev. David Horne officiating.
