Dean R. Cady's Obituary
Dean Raymond Cady, age 58, passed away surrounded by his family in Muskegon, MI, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Dean was born on August 18, 1965, in Tacoma, Washington, to Noel Cady and Meg Wilde. He lived his whole life in the Muskegon area, graduating from Muskegon High School in 1983. He worked as a machine technician for many years at Herman Miller, and then for a few years at Shape Corp. He married Danielle Hozer on October 15th 1988 and they have spent 35 years together. Dean was very competitive and had been an avid bowler his entire life. He was a longtime member of the Greater Muskegon Bowling Association, bowling for many years at Maple Lanes, Bob-Hi Lanes, Muskegon Lanes, Northway Lanes, and Sherman Bowling Center. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Dean's memory will live on through his wife, Danielle Cady; three children: Dominique Cady, Eric Cady, and Erin Cady; father, Noel (Patti) Cady; five siblings: Curt (Christine) Cady, Dawne (Clark Gomery) Cady, Rachel Helgerson, Tony Cady, and Debbie (Nick) Dietz; aunt, Michelle Wilde; stepfather, John Norton; several nieces and nephew; and many close friends, including Ray Skoglund, Bob Morrall, and Lee Beagle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Meg Norton. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be taking place for Dean from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E.
