As a younger cousin I remember with fondness the visits to uncle Jim and Aunt Helen's house and how much I looked up to Dean. He was so handsome in his Navy uniform!
My mom and dad enjoyed many visits with Dean and Louise. My love and sympathy to Louise and family.

As all the close family knows, Dean helped me pull a rather large boat some 2500 miles from Michigan to California in 2013. When I suggested he might join me, he stepped forward and said he would be delighted. We laughed, joked, and generally had a great time for a little over a week. What a friend.
My heart goes out to all those who were close to Dean.
