RIP - the greatest boss I ever had - worked for Dean @ Sears hardware in college circa '77-'82+ and loved it. He worked hard but was always fun loving. Can't tell you the exact words as it wouldn't survive editing - but he had a certain expression when we were out of an inventory item that always made us laugh and I have always remembered the way he said it. Blessings to Dean's family - a great man will be missed.

Dean taught me to water ski as a young girl - Mona Lake-Ross Park. He was a patient instructor indeed. I have good memories of days at the beach swimming, boating and picnicing with the Sanborn family. He left a caring impression on my young life. Thank you Mr. Sanborn. 🕯️

My Dad, Elmer Vanderwall was a friend and co worker with Dean. I myself remember Dean well. Dad spoke highly of Dean for many years after his retirement. Treasure your memories.
My husband and I met Dean & Shar at Estero Island Beach Club, FL many years ago-and always looked forward to our annual visits-chuckles-hugs-teasing-and later years, met daughters "Paula" and Kim. What a special and loving family-I know how they all looked forward to this time-and what an awesome job Paula did, bringing them down the past number of years-she's such a sweet and loving person-and we've become special friends these past few years.
We are so sorry for your loss. He was an amazing man-beautiful obituary. Shar, "you" are very special to us. Please take care of yourself, too, and may all your special memories/moments help you heal. I know your daughters will take good care of you,
as well. We are looking forward to seeing you at EIBC next year.

My condolences to the family. Dean was a special individual who will be missed by many. Remembering all the years of playing softball and tennis and how Dean was responsible for my initial involvement. Many great memories. RIP Dean.
