Dean Major Addicott's Obituary
Mr. Dean Major Addicott, age 42, passed away very unexpectedly following a massive brain hemorrhage on Saturday morning, December 10, 2011 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born June 19, 1969 in Muskegon to Ernest A. and Seconda B. (Heikkila) Lombardi-Addicott and lived most of his life in the area. Dean was a 1988 graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central High School and attended Ferris State University. He was currently the Vice President of Sales for Mark-Pack, Inc. and Nagel & Shippers Products, Inc. having worked for over 20 years. Dean was raised in the faith at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where he received his initiation sacraments. He was currently a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Saginaw. Dean was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing ice hockey and golf. His wife, his beloved children and his family were the first priority in his life and he loved them all beyond measure. He will be sorely missed by his wife, Heidi Helgren of Freeland; his beloved children, Andrea, Collin and Rachel; his parents, Ernie and Seconda Addicott of Norton Shores; his brother, Chad (Angie) Addicott of Fruitport; his grandmothers, Theresa (Stanley) Lombardi-Chudy of Norton Shores and Marie Addicott of Muskegon; his sister-in-law, Wendy (Denis) Jolivet; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Andrea M. Addicott; grandfathers, Cre Lombardi and Ernest Addicott; and his uncle, Ernest Heikkila. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Reverend Monsignor R. Louis Stasker as celebrant. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the Mass, 11 AM – 12 PM Wednesday at the church.
