Dean Martin Workman's Obituary
Dean Martin Workman, dear son, beloved brother, amazing uncle, and loyal friend passed away unexpectedly at his home in Palm Springs, CA on July 8. Dean was born on September 18, 1958 in Muskegon, MI. He graduated from Western Michigan Christian High School in 1976. He attended Michigan State University and graduated from Central Michigan University. Dean worked for Chrysler, Toyota, Lexus, and Hyatt affording him the opportunity to live in a number of different areas across the United States. He enjoyed travel, gourmet cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. Dean will be remembered for his generous spirit, his genuine heart, and his sense of humor. Dean is survived by his parents, Alan and Margaret Workman of Spring Lake; his siblings, Linda Carver of Ann Arbor, Steve and Terry Workman of Rockford, Lori and Ken Batts of Minneapolis, and Lisa Rosema of Spring Lake. Dean was incredibly fond of his nieces and nephews, Megan and Charlie Carver, Rob, Steve and Sara Workman, Lindsey, Jeff and Alex Batts, and Ben, Jerrold, Daniel, and Alysa Rosema ('he spoiled us'). A Memorial Service is planned for Sunday, July 24, 12:00 noon at the Ferrysburg Community Church, 17785 Mohawk Drive, Ferrysburg, MI. In lieu of flowers, please consider the charity of your choice.
