Deborah DeHeer's Obituary
Deborah DeHeer, age 69, of Grand Haven passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. She was born May 8, 1953, in Muskegon to the late Melvin and Marian (Witkowski) Reich.
Deborah graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1971 and one of her passions was providing childcare to family and friends. However, Deborah’s greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family.
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her three children: Donnielle (Jason) George of Grand Haven, Derik (Tony) DeHeer of Chicago, and Sheryl (Larry) Bloom of Middleville; and seven grandchildren: Katriel, Joshua, and Izaiah Schmidt, Kaytlin (Nick Meadley) George, Christian George, Jordyn DeHeer, and Logan Bloom; sister, Linda McClain; brothers, Tom (Lisa) Reich, and Tim Reich; sister-in-law, Jackie (Lynn) Essenburg; in-laws, Linda King, David (Roxanne) Krohn, special sister, Debbie (Larry) Scott; former son-in-law, Scott Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Marian Reich; son, Michael DeHeer; brother, Michael Reich; in-laws, Aart and Mary Ann DeHeer; and sister-in-law, Gail Krohn.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
