Deborah M. Elwell's Obituary
Ms. Deborah M. Elwell, 60, passed away Thursday evening, July 4, 2013. Born July 12, 1952 in Muskegon, she had lived in Grand Rapids for most of her life. She had been employed as a supervisor at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, and had also worked for AAA and Rockford Speakers. Her SURVIVORS include her father, Kenneth Barendse; two sisters: Denise (Michael) Johnson and Diane (Harold) Meisch; a brother, Michael Barendse, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Barendse and a niece, Heather Barendse. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held for Deborah at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444, phone 231-798-1100 with Pastor Ken Babcock officiating. VISITATION will be from Noon to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home..
