Debra S. Cantu's Obituary
Mrs. Debra S. Cantu, age 63, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born in Elkart, Indiana on May 13, 1954 to Richard and Mary (Fitzgerald) Watrous. She married Robert Cantu in Nevada on October 25, 1997. Deb had worked for many years at The Pfizer Corp. prior to retiring. She was an avid Tiger and Little River Casino fan. She also enjoyed reading, trivia, Yahtzee and Hallmark movies, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her family. SURVIVORS include her loving husband, Robert of over 20 years; daughters, Melissa (Douglas) TerMeer, and Amy (Greg Gleesing) Kohls; 2 step daughters, Deborah and Cheryl Cantu; grandchildren, Jaiden, Brenden, Kevin, Michael, Mariah, Derek and Branden; brothers, Rick (Willie) Watrous and Michael (Linda) Watrous. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Larry Knapp and her beloved cat, Samantha Lynn. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home with the Rosary at 4:30 PM.
