Debra Hallada's Obituary
Debra Hallada, age 66, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at home. She was born May 14, 1955, in Grand Haven to Guy and Norma (Bolthouse) Buitenwert. She married Norman Yost and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2003. In 2006 she married Robert Hallada.
Debra was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church and a VFW Post 2326 Auxiliary member and past president. She enjoyed ancestry research, sewing, camping, Coast Guard Festival, and U of M sports. Most of all she loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Robert; children: Jennifer Zattlin, and Eric (Angela) Zattlin, Kimberly (Kurt) Rowland; grandchildren: Gracelyn, and Ryleigh Zattlin, Robert Thompson, Ryan and Jeff Kamp, William, and Annie Rowland; sister, Pat Buitenwert; brother, Allan (Debbie) Buitenwert; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Norma, and her sister, Sandi Schamper.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 15, 2021, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery.
