Debra Kay Wikman-Wolovlek's Obituary
Debra Kay Wikman-Wolovlek, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was born October 13, 1963 in Muskegon to Roland and Linda (VanDyke) Wikman. Debra was a 1982 graduate of North Muskegon High School. On June 25, 1993, she married Francis J. “Frank” Wolovlek in Muskegon. Debra loved to collect all things Scooby-Doo, loved animals, and was always feeding the wildlife, and loved her scratch off lottery tickets. She was humble and had a warm heart and always enjoyed meeting and talking to new people. Her family remembers her as being an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and immaculate housekeeper. “We are grateful to God for lending Debra to us for 57 years, 10 months, and 8 days, before cancer took her away from us.” Love Mom and Dad. Debra is survived by her husband, Frank; 2 sons: Nicholas (Krista Dowdy) Wolovlek of Muskegon, Damian (Sara) Wolovlek of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren: Malachi, Lydia, Ezra, and Nicholas Wolovlek Jr; parents, Roland and Linda Wikman of North Muskegon; brother, Mark (Kim) Wikman of Ludington; sister, Joyce (Earl “Rick”) Andree of North Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vern and Jeanette Wikman and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Francis and Betty Wolovlek. A Celebration of Debra’s Life will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Forest Park Covenant Church. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
