Mrs. DeeAnna "Dee" Wypa's Obituary
Mrs. DeeAnna “Dee” Mary (Kuzukos) Wypa, age 73, passed away early Saturday morning, February 23, in Muskegon. Dee was born August 30, 1939 in Flint, MI to Louis and Edna (Stegall) Kuzukos and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On February 8, 1958, she married Anthony M. Wypa in Detroit, MI. Dee worked for Muskegon Public Schools for 15 years in various positions as a secretary and parapro and retired in 2001. She also worked most recently as a circulation clerk for Hackley Public Library. Dee was instrumental in developing Muskegon West Little League and was active with the Muskegon Elks Lodge where she was president of the Elk-ettes. Dee especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. SURVIVORS include her wonderful husband of 55 years, Anthony M. Wypa; 5 loving children, Karen M. Clark, Tony Wypa, Jr., Katherine (James) Wypa-Alderink, David (Lisa) Wypa, Mark (Jane) Wypa; 6 grandchildren, Steven J. Clark, Mary Alderink, Matthew Alderink, Lucas Wypa, Lily Wypa, and Ava Wypa; her most loving sister, Jean Kuzukos; and many loving nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends and co-workers. Dee was preceded in death by her young grandson, Nikolas Wypa, her parents, 1 sister, Katherine Davis, and 1 brother, Tony Kuzukos. A SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, 231 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be 4-7 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
