Ms Deirdre Helen Kurtz 's Obituary
Ms. Deirdre Helen Kurtz, age 55, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at an area hospital. Deirdre was born June 8, 1964 in Newport, RI. Her parents are David and Karen Kurtz. She had worked at Goodwill Industries and Plumb’s Inc. Deirdre had a strong faith and loved her church. She also loved cats, flowers and nature that abounded outdoors. Deirdre lived happily for several years at the Fa-Ho-Lo family home and her family would like to thank them for their friendship and excellent care. Most of all, Deirdre loved her family and is survived by her father and mother, David and Karen; sisters, Tammy Sue Ferrier and Christine Matteson; niece, Hayley (Brandon) Stafford; and nephew, Jordan Ferrier. Deirdre was preceded in death by her mother, Karma McCann Kurtz; and her sister, Joli Kurtz. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Hope Reformed Church, 1878 Evanston Ave. with Rev. Steven Hyma officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Burial will take place in Egelston Township Cemetery.
