Della Doorn's Obituary
Mrs. Della Doorn, age 100, passed away early Sunday morning, June 10, 2007 in Muskegon. She was born July 22, 1906 to Theodore and Grace (Nanniga) Fielstra in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mrs. Doorn was a member of Calvary Bible Church, had been active with the Muskegon Rescue Mission, and enjoyed attending senior activities at Johnson Hall. On July 27, 1927 she married Andrew Doorn, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1993. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Donald (Carol) Doorn of Norton Shores; 1 daughter, Jean Burns of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Linda (Jay) DeYoung, Jane (James) Zwiers, Louise (Wayne) Pothoff, Lorraine VanBurgel, Laura (Tim) Kaspraczyk; 9 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 1 grandson, David Doorn in 1982; 3 brothers, Gerrit, Al, and Bill Fielstra. SERVICES will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Calvary Bible Church, 4617 Grand Haven Rd., with Pastor Tim Beggs officiating. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION at
