Delores E. DeVries Mahan's Obituary
Mrs. Delores E. DeVries Mahan, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was born on October 24, 1927 to Clifford and Hazel (Gould) Cooper in Muskegon. Delores was a warm, caring, and loving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Delores is survived by her children, Robert (Denise) DeVries, Judy (Bob Maus) DeVries, Doug (Doreen) DeVries, Sherry DeVries, Louann Sauve, Rhonda (Mark Young) Secrest and Shelly (Don) Sells; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one brother and three sisters, including her twin sister. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Robert DeVries; second husband, Raymond Mahan; sons, Dan DeVries and Greg DeVries; son-in-law, Steve Sauve; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven sisters. A Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15 from 3-5PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service and burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions directed to the family would be appreciated.
