Mrs Delores Rose Downorowicz's Obituary
Mrs. Delores Rose Downorowicz, age 84, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Downorowicz was born July 7, 1930 to George and Emma (Frank) Rhodea in Muskegon. On January 28, 1956 she married Herbert Downorowicz in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1997. Delores was a longtime member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and worked for many years as a service representative for G.T.E. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Ronald (Ann) Bowman and Steven (Karla) Rhodea. In addition to her husband, Herbert, Delores was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Rhodea and Orville Rhodea; and a sister, Beatrice Bowman. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Mona View Cemetery with Rev. Julie Winklepleck officiating. Prior to the service, VISITATION for Delores will be held from 12 noon until 1:00 PM at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St.
