Delores Letherby's Obituary
Mrs. Delores Letherby, age 81, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born in Muskegon on August 7, 1934 to Clifford and Bernice Wood and was a life resident of the area. Delores retired from Teledyne Continental Motors and later from Brunswick Corporation. In addition to her career, she was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Delores enjoyed spending the past 25 winters in Haines City, FL. On September 24, 1955, Delores married Robert Letherby in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2012. She is survived by her three children, Robert (Kathy) Letherby, David (Michele) Letherby and Linda (Tracy Skidmore) Talmadge; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley (Dick) Brooks and Ruth Walker. In addition to her husband, Delores was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clifford “Skip” Wood.
