Delores A. McGowan, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, October 6, 2012 in Muskegon. She was born January 15, 1947 in Berwind, West Virginia to Alvin and Hazel (Meadows) Whittaker, and moved to Muskegon from Kalamazoo. SURVIVORS include her special friend, Harold DeHaan of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Lisa Bloomberg of Kalamazoo, Teresa (Lane) Nickoloff of Muskegon; many grand and great-grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, Rhonda (Matt) Webber, Robin Norg; 1 sister, Doris (Dave) Moore; 1 brother, Larry (Grace) Whittaker, both of Orangeville, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 1 brother, James Whittaker. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Sunday, October 28, at 2:00 PM at the Christian Manor Community Room, 1480 McLaughlin.
