Delores L. Skiba's Obituary
Delores L. Skiba, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. She was born on July 30, 1928 to Joseph and Cecilia (Cline) Sweet in Muskegon. Delores was a hardworking woman who worked for several local businesses until her retirement from Midwest Spring in 2008. She spread that work ethic to her family being a faithful caregiver to her two sisters. Delores was an avid moviegoer who spent many weekends at the cinema. She will be missed by many. Delores is survived by her sons, Larry (Barbara) Huber, Robert (Deborah) Skiba; grandchildren, Tammey (Forrest) Brown, Tina (Kenny) Stafford, Tricia (Steve) Nash, Kristy (Aron) Rogalla, Chad (Rebecca) Skiba, Rachel Skiba, Ryan (Stacy) Skiba; 11 great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Carol Crevier. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Arthur J. Skiba; four brothers, two sisters; and great-grandchild, Caleb. Burial will take place at a later date in Mona View Cemetery. For a more lasting memory, donations in Delores’ name can be made to Heartland Hospice.
