Delores L. Six's Obituary
Delores Lillian Six, age 81, of Muskegon went to be with her Lord, Saturday, December 18, 2004 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 4, 1923 in Thompsonville, MI and was the daughter of Henry & Daisy Dzuibanek. She married Charles D.T. Six on June 29, 1940 in Thompsonville, MI. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1999. Delores retired from Mercy Hospital after 27 years of caring service. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church where she was very active. For 60 years she was a member of the Rebeka Lodge. Delores volunteered her time at Fellowship Reformed Church, Oakridge Senior Center, and Youth for Christ. She is survived by one son, Danny T. and Julie Six of Fairland, IN; 3 daughters, Sharon and Harvey Shriver of Fremont, Sally and Terry Morris of Muskegon, and Sue Nutt of Saginaw; son-in-law, John Dailey of Muskegon; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert and Wilma Dzuibanek of Murphy, NC; very special nephew, Richard Dzuibanek and his wife Alice of Livingston, TX. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Dailey; brother, Vernon and son-in-law, Garold Nutt. SERVICES will be 3 PM Tuesday at Fellowship Reformed Church (4200 Apple Ave.) with Rev. Greg VanderMeer officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Cancer Society or Fellowship Reformed Church.
