Delores Maxine Priebe's Obituary
Ms. Delores Maxine Priebe, age 85, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009. She was born December 25, 1923 in Muskegon to William and Rose (Jaster) Priebe and lived in the area her entire life. Christmas was always special to Delores especially the last years of her life. She enjoyed visits from little children and animals. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she worked 42 years at SPX Corporation. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and she was an active member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #599 and the Muskegon Eagles. She was a proud retired member of the UAW. SURVIVORS include 3 sisters-in-law, Stella Priebe of Ypsilanti, Florence Priebe and Gertrude Priebe both of Muskegon; and 4 generations of beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 12:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum as celebrant. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION with Delores’ family will take place one hour before the Mass, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday, at the church.
