Mrs. Deloris Fae Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Deloris Fae Anderson, age 87, passed away Monday evening, May 12, 2014, at Sanctuary at the Park. Deloris was born March 10, 1927 in Muskegon to Edwin and Sarah (Mann) Schimke. On October 11, 1947, she married Eugene Anderson and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1996. They were long time members of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Earlier on in her life, Deloris had spent time working as a secretary for the General Telephone and Muskegon Catholic Central High School. She was also a full time homemaker, providing a loving home for her family. Deloris is survived by her 5 daughters, Mikki (David) Borns of Cadillac, Cheryl (Paul) Valachovics of Rockford, Faye (Patrick) Ohrling of Hesperia, Linda (Steve) Mosley of Fruitport and Shelley (Roger) Valachovics of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Eugene, Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Audrey Wills; and brother, Owen Schimke. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2014, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave.) with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be Thursday from 6-8 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 7:30 PM at
