Dennis “Denny” K. Bailey Sr., age 82, passed away peacefully into the arms of God at home on April 1, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. He was born to Harmon and Dora (Dick) Bailey on February 11, 1944, in Muskegon, MI. Denny married Julie (Edlund) Koenig on July 24, 1982, in Muskegon, MI. and spent 43 wonderful years together. Denny enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, celebrating his sobriety for 45 years and most of all spending time with and raising their family. He is survived in death by his wife: Julie Bailey; children: Melanie (Mike) Carlson, Jennifer (Brett) Chartrand, Anna Reagan, Roy (Nicole) Koenig; grandchildren: Matt Bailey, Jake (Allison) Bailey, Lucas Bailey, Lacey (Josh) Alviar, Kaysha (William) Stephan, Kadin Galarneau, Taylor Chartrand, Hunter Chartrand, Scott Reagan, Samantha (Cory) Bailen, Missi Reagan, Wolfgang Koenig; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; son-in-law: Donald Reagan; daughter-in-law: Juli Bailey; cousin: Doris Carson of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harmon and Dora Bailey; son; Denny Bailey Jr. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church, 1066 E Byron Rd. Norton Shores, MI. 49441. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
