Dennis H. Childs' Obituary
Mr. Dennis H. Childs, age 55, of Nunica passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born January 7, 1963 in Mount Pleasant to Gerald and Joyce (Gregg) Childs. On July 9, 2005 he married Penny Yeomans.
Dennis enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, riding their horses and watching NASCAR. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Penny; his two children: Amanda (Scott) Akkerman, and son, Dennis Childs, Jr.; two granddaughters, Audrey and Lena Akkerman; brother, Lee (Darlene) Childs; sister, Cheri (Bruce) LaLonde; in-laws: Betty (Dwight) Swisher, and Stephen (Virginia) Yeomans; special aunt and uncle, Linda and Junior Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Joyce; sister, Sue (Mike) Dykstra.
