Dennis Dale Grabow's Obituary
Mr. Dennis Dale Grabow, age 79, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 8, 2026 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Whittemore, Michigan on February 15, 1947 to George and Grace (Schneider) Grabow. Dennis owned and operated Grabow Distributing for over 40 years, and most recently worked as a FedEx Courier prior to his retirement in 2003. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dennis enjoyed feeding and watching the birds that visited his yard, and equally enjoyed “managing” the squirrels that bothered his birds. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. On August 29, 1970, Dennis married the former Brenda Britt in Hale, Michigan and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage prior to her passing in January of this year. Together, Dennis and Brenda enjoyed spending winters at their home in Punta Gorda, Florida. They were faithful, long-standing members of Forest Park Covenant Church.
A father’s heart is strong and true,
filled with love in all he’d do.
With gentle hands and caring ways,
He brightened countless lives and days.
Denny lived life by his own drum,
A beat so free, no fear would come.
He taught us all, through joy, toots, and laughter,
Even the simplest things matter after.
He spent years teaching us, with a smile so wide,
Even the grandchildren laughed by his side.
He never met a stranger he couldn’t befriend,
He led with integrity, right to the end.
Though time may pass and seasons part,
His memory lives within each heart.
For love like his will never end,
A hero, a husband, a father, a grandfather,
and forever a friend.
Denny and Brenda, side by side,
Loved camping with friends, where joy would glide.
Beneath the stars and Lake nearby the stream,
They built a life, like a dream.
Forever Loved, Forever Missed,
Forever held in HEAVEN with BRENDA is bliss.
Strong not because it never bends,
but because it keeps on giving.
A father’s love is often quiet –
Yet it echoes through a lifetime.
Dennis is survived by his daughters, Kori Hopkins and Kelsey (Chad) Yeomans; three grandchildren, Grace Hopkins, Jackson Hopkins, and Rawlin Yeomans; siblings, Ronald Grabow, Judith Grabow, Gail Feinauer, and Linda (Tim) Arndt; siblings-in-law, Bruce (Brenda) Britt, Barbara (Mark) Sztanyo and Nancy (Lindsey) Bielby; many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
