Dennis Lyle Hall Sr.'s Obituary
Dennis Lyle Hall Sr., age 68, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. He was born March 18, 1952 in Fremont, MI to Lyle and Rose (Dempkey) Hall. Dennis worked over 40 years for Alcoa prior to his retirement. He was an avid history buff, and after retirement spent a lot of time at the Torrent House doing research on different things like historical homes and buildings. He enjoyed helping others with their research as well. He collected antiques and was known as a jokester. We were honored to call Dennis Lyle Hall Sr our father and grandfather. Our dad was a rock with a kind soul! He will be missed beyond measure. Dennis is survived by his children: Dennis Lyle (Melissa) Hall Jr. and Connie (Gregory) Bradley both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren: Darcy (Tyler) Kennedy, Jacob Farlow, Cassidy Hall, Bailey Hill, and Dennis Lyle “DJ” Hall III; brother, Scott Hall of Hesperia; 4 sisters: Sandra (Al) Mendham of Holton, Diana (Bill) Myers, Karen (Ron) Ward, and Bonnie (Ed) Nichols all of Hesperia; many nieces and nephews; his former spouse, Pamela Hall of Muskegon; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jannet VanAvery. Private family services for Dennis will be held. Burial will take place in E. Hesperia Cemetery.
