Mr. Dennis Robert McPherson's Obituary
Mr. Dennis Robert McPherson, age 71, passed away on January 9, 2015. Denny was born on March 10, 1943 to Guy and Mildred McPherson. He attended Muskegon High School where he began a love of sports and excelled at basketball. After High School he worked for Teledyne Continental as a printer until his retirement in the early 2000s. Denny loved golf, his Muskegon Big Reds and working on his yard. He was a friendly, kind, giving, outgoing individual who will be deeply missed. Denny is survived by 2 sons, Craig and Bruce McPherson; lifelong friend Marleen McPherson; brothers, Dave (Claudia) and Dick (Edie) McPherson; sisters Carol (Dan) Groleau and Patty Ashburn; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 of his sons, Brian and Mark; his parents, and brothers, Ron and Jim. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11AM at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St 231-798-1100 with visitation being held one hour prior to the start of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Muskegon Public Schools Athletic Dept.
