Mr. Dennis E. Pallett's Obituary
Dennis E. Pallett, age 73, of Muskegon passed away February 9, 2015 in Rochester Hills, MI. He was born April 8, 1941 to Leslie and Kathryn Pallett in Battle Creek. On June 11, 1966 he married Margaret M. Schoenborn. Dennis graduated from Michigan State University and had an obsessive relationship with MSU sports everyday thereafter. He then became an educator, teaching at both Ravenna and Reeths-Puffer schools for 39 years; where he coached various sports at many levels. He was a compassionate man who cared deeply for each of his students and athletes. His final days were spent surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Pallett; children, Toby J. Pallett (Kim) of Farmington, MI, Mary (Michael) Deon of Rochester Hills, MI, Matthew (Stacey) Pallett of Muskegon, MI, Jodi Pallett (Paul) of Roda, Spain; grandchildren, Vonnegut, Wyeth, Valadian, Vincent, Mia, Aidan, John, Matthew, Daniel; sister Kathryn (John) Kalinosky. He was preceded in death by his parents. VISITATION will be held from 5 – 8 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey (231-798-1100) and an hour prior to services. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Dennis will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Oakhurst Cemetery.
