Dennis Lee Young's Obituary
Dennis Lee Young, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born on August 15, 1942 to Donald and Rosella (Ingram) Young in Ludington, MI. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman; he loved deer hunting, working in his barn and watching the deer at his feeder. His favorite place to be was at his cabin in Free Soil surrounded by his family. Dennis had a close group of friends that he would have coffee with everyday. He will be missed by many good friends and his loving family. On January 29, 1971 he married the love of his life, the former Lynn Marie Eyestone, and she survives him along with his two children, Dennis Lee (Jennifer) Young II, Becky (Ken) Ackerman; grandchildren, Brenna Lynn Gargus, Dennis Lee Young III; sister, Betty (John) Hawley of Chana, IL; siblings-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Holman, Richard (Sandy) Eyestone, Lee (Marcia) Eyestone, Lori (Tim) Hayes, Lisa (Jerome) Wisniewski; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings; and grandson, Jeremy Young. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Dennis will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) at 3:00 PM with visitation an hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers donations in Dennis’ name can be made to either the First Christian Church of Muskegon or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
