Dennis J. Zack's Obituary
Mr. Dennis J. Zack, age 75, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 6, 2016 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on August 4, 1940 to Stanley and Eva (Blackmer) Zack and was a life resident of the area. Denny was a veteran of the Air National Guard and was a graduate of Aquinas College. He had been employed by Sealed Power/SPX Corporation for over 35 years before his retirement. Denny was a member of Lincoln Golf Course and was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending winters with his wife and many dear friends at their home in Florida. Denny also enjoyed spending time with his family at their hunting cabin in Northern Michigan. He found great joy in watching his grandchildren play sports and cherished the many friendships he made while playing golf. Most importantly, Denny loved his family and always put them first. On September 28, 1963, Denny married the former Delores Wisniewski in Ravenna and she survives him along with their children, Gregg (Michelle VanHemert) Zack and Julie (Craig) Brown; five grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Kennedy, Kyler and Nicholas; sister, June (Rodger) Pietsch; brother, Arlyn Zack; many loving relatives and dear friends. His MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church (3376 Thomas St., Ravenna, MI) with Rev. Msgr. R. Louis Stasker presiding. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at The Lee Chapel (Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.) 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100.
