Dennis K Bailey Jr.
My Dear Nephew Denny Jr. was born June 5 1966 and Died On this Day August 08 2011
Dennis Jr. was a cute lil guy that was always very shy He was always so well behaved you hardly knew he was around.
I can remember the first words he said to me in 1966 because Denny’s Grandfather had sent me a reel to reel sound Tape around Christmas time while I was in Germany .
I quickly took the family tape I got from my father and started playing the tape. The family voices were all on the tape including the newborn named Dennis K Bailey who I had never seen or heard because I was in the Army and an Ocean away from him. .As I played the tape and recognized his parents and sisters voice ,Out of Know where I soon heard this tiny voice that echoed throughout my room .It was Little Denny and he could barely pronounce the words that said “I wove you Uncle Jeff “
Although we lived next door time flew by so fast I rarely watched him grow because you see I was away in another Town while he was growing up and Lil Denny had finally grown up enough to become a family man.
Denny found a good job and became successful .He was raising a family that loved him but Death took its Toll from Cancer and he has now gone to a better place where there is no suffering.
I always remembered and always will remember the first few words that Lil Denny said to me from far away in another land which were “I Wove you Uncle Jeff “ ….If Denny had his way today he would say “thank you all for caring and “I love you ”
Time still flies by and Denny is gone but not forgotten only if you took the time to really know Dennis K Bailey Jr. which would have really made your heart grow like it did mine back in 66 where Denny Jr had just begun the start of his new-born life in the City of Norton Shores.
Dennis is now in another new life and someday I will meet him again in the afterlife in order to hear Denny Jr. once again repeat the three little words more clearer and hopefully say “I love you Uncle Jeff“
Sincerely
Uncle Jeff##imported-begin##Jeff Barber ##imported-end##
