Dewayne V. Davison's Obituary
Dewayne V. Davison, age 64, passed away early Thursday morning, November 14, 2024. He was born in Ludington, MI on September 24, 1960 to Wayne D. and Janice L. (Buffenbarger) Davison and shortly after, the family moved to Muskegon. He served as the Parts Manager at Tom Miller Pontiac for a number of years before leaving to help operate and run Lee’s Sinker and Tackle with his father. Dewayne married Sharon B. Ryder in Muskegon on September 19, 1981. Dewayne was a man with a great passion for life, family and his faith. He enjoyed many hobbies including aviation, locomotives, photography, theology, and the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon B. Davison; 4 children, Toni (Matthew) Thomas, Keith (Katy) Davison, Mark (Lindsey) Davison, Lauren (Shaun) O’Neal; 11 grandchildren; and his father, Wayne Davison. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Davison; and 2 brothers, Keith Avery Davison and Mark Andrew Davison. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Crestwood United Methodist Church (1220 Creston Street, Muskegon, MI 49442). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
