Diana Lynn Hanson's Obituary
Diana Lynn Hanson, age 61, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Robbinswood Assisted Living Center in Grand Haven, MI. She courageously battled Glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer for 13 months. She was born December 17, 1963 in Muskegon, MI to Richard and Dixie (Fitzgerald) Davis. Diana worked 30 years in Food Service for Oakridge Public Schools where her co-workers and the students were like her second family. She truly loved her job. Survivors include 2 children, Bryan (Elaine) Hanson, Sara (Jesse Szczesny) Hanson; 3 grandchildren who were her absolute pride and joy, Broderick, Shaylean, Bennett; 2 brothers, Denny (Robin) Davis, Dan (Terri) Davis; 1 sister, Dorene (Ron) Scanlon; and 1 sister-in-law, Betty Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Davis and 1 brother, Doug Davis. Visitation will begin at 1PM and a memorial service will be at 2pm Sunday, October 26, 2025 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
