Mrs. Diana L. Kartes, age 57, passed away Monday evening following a brief illness. Diana was born on September 21, 1951 in Fremont, MI to Robert and Betty (Harrald) Tozer. She was a 1969 graduate of Fremont H.S. and following her Read Obituary
I was just told about Diana this afternoon at Hobby Lobby. I'm still in a state of shock, thinking that she would be there with a lot of news and helpful advice. For the family of Diana Kartes. I have known Diana from Hobby-Lobby and also from the Collector's Connection (Plate Connection). She was always helpful and I so enjoyed her suggestions. More than that I enjoyed knowing her and her great personality. We always had great chats. I am very sorry for your loss and will miss her very much.

I am so, so sorry to hear of the loss of Diana. When we first met at the gallery we clicked as friends and had a great understanding of each other. Knowing her and learning from her has been a highlight of my life. I remember the first time I got her to get mad over something where we worked (and rightly so).
