I am so sorry to read in the paper about the unexpected death of Diane. My heart goes out to Alice, the kids and grandchildren. I am very saddened by Diane's so unexpected death. I will always have wonderful, loving memories of Diane. As children we lived right next door to each other for many years. My mother babysat for Diane when she was a very little girl. Diane will always be remembered by me for her "Love" for children. I remember Diana so well as the beautiful, talkative, little red-headed child that lived next door and sat at our kitchen table. She loved my mother and came over often. She was so adorable, I asked her mother if she could be the flower girl in my wedding in 1957. She agreed and Diana was so cute, but with a mind of her own--would not let the photographer take her picture. What can you say about someone you grew up with and shared so much with. Just last month she came to visit me in the hospital after my surgury. She was the only one who did besides my kids and wife. She called me on my birthday just 2 weeks before hers and sang to me on the phone. What a kind, thoughful, and caring person. Thank God for Diana, we sure will miss her. Now she can take care of Dad and Kelly. I'll miss you "cus". Kids take care of yourselves, you will get through this, but lean on each other and it will be easier. Take time to call gramma and don't be afraid to share the memories, it helps a lot.
