Mrs. Diane F. Aldridge's Obituary
Mrs. Diane F. Aldridge, age 70, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 in Muskegon surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 10, 1943 in Muskegon to Richard and Carol (Hullinger) Baker. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1961. She had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors, Vets Clothing and retired from North Ottawa Community Hospital where she worked in Materials Management for 19 years. She was a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ where she was involved with several activities. She loved her family, going to Girls Club of Muskegon High School Class of ’61 with her friends, traveling and her beloved dog, Teddy Bear. On May 15, 1965, she married her loving husband of 48 years, Arthur Aldridge and he survives her along with two children, Todd Aldridge of Spring Lake and Jill Aldridge of Spring Lake; 7 grandchildren, Ryan (Brandi) Aldridge, Heather Kane, Adam Aldridge, Carly Aldridge, Morgan Kane, Elijah Aldridge and Maya Aldridge; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Aldridge; several nephews and one niece; three siblings, Bill (Bev) Baker, Rick Baker and Judie Scoggins as well as a special “sister”, Joyce (Dan) Busman. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Don Wood officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday, March 7, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 and from 10-11 AM Saturday at church. Burial will be in Fruitport Cemetery.
