Diane Lynn Imeson's Obituary
Diane Lynn Imeson, age 67, passed away in Muskegon, Michigan on Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was born in Muskegon on March 17, 1958 to Adrian “Bill” and Wilma (Bish) Poort. Diane spent most of her adult life in North Carolina before returning to Michigan in 2022. She enjoyed the finer things in life, traveling extensively to countries around the world, discovering new restaurants, and meeting people while cultivating meaningful relationships along the way. Diane had an inviting personality that drew people to her, and a presence that lit up every room she entered. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Susan (Walter) Sowles; special niece, Jessica (Anthony) Chandler and their sons, Brendan and Blake; and niece, Leah (Derek) Battle. She is also survived by her brother, William (Kathy) Poort. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Danny Poort and James Poort. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2026 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with VISITATION held one hour prior to her service.
