Diane M. Teeter's Obituary
Diane M. Teeter, age 50, passed away at her home early Wednesday morning, March 7, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 29, 1956 in Grand Haven, MI to Norman and Delores (VanderMolen) Teeter and had been a life resident of the west Michigan area. Diane had been employed as a bartender at several area bars. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Tara (Dennis) DeBrie of Holton and Jason (Laura) Schmiedeknecht of North Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Hans & Kiley Schmiedeknecht; her mother, Delores Teeter of Muskegon; 1 sister, Cindy (Don) Smith of Avilla, IN; 2 brothers, David (Tracy) Teeter of Ravenna and Michael (Kimberly) Teeter of Fruitport; 1 great-grandmother, Margaret VanderMolen of Spring Lake; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her very special friend, Evan Prowse of Berkley, MI; and by her former husband, Allen Schmiedeknecht. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Norman. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 10, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel of
Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210)with Brother Paul Peterson officiating. VISITATION with Diane’s family will be 6-8PM Friday and 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL GIFTS to the Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
