Diann Lyn Garvey's Obituary
Mrs. Diann Lyn (Horringa) Garvey, age 51, passed away Monday, February 7, 2005 at her home. She was born April 18, 1953 in Muskegon to Daniel and Ada (DeRuiter) Horringa and lived her entire life in the area. She worked as a nurse’s aide for DeBoer Nursing Home the past 10 years. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Brad (fiancée, Melissa Darwin) Laventure and Matthew (Lisa) Laventure both of Muskegon; 3 granddaughters, Jessica, Samantha, and Faith Laventure; 2 brothers, Daniel (Judy) Horringa of Manistique, MI and Gary Horringa of Branson, MO; 1 sister, Kathy (Mike) Gilchrist of Whitehall; and long-time friend, Ed Berglund of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents. A MEMORIAL GATHERING with a time of sharing will be held 6-8 PM Friday, February 11, 2005 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210.
