Dionel Marie (O'Toole) Toth's Obituary
Dionel Marie (O’Toole) Toth, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was born August 22, 1938 in Muskegon to John E. and Dionel M. (Dion) O’Toole and lived all her life in the area. Dionel married James G. Toth on May 3, 1958 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2009. She later married Dan E. Klairter in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2018. She was a longtime member of the former St. Jean de Baptiste Catholic Church and was currently a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Dionel was an avid nature lover and enjoyed gardening. Her backyard was her sanctuary where she could watch the deer wander through. Dionel also spent many hours knitting dish cloths for her family and close friends. Music was a big part of her life and she sang with the St. Jean’s Choir and Sacred Heart Choir. She will leave a tremendous void in the lives of her close family and countless dear friends. Survivors include 5 children, James E. (Sheri) Toth, Dionel M. (Mike Belke) Toth, Mary Kay (Richard) Gorajec, Eric J. Toth, Christopher “Chip” H. (Lynn) Toth; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Terry J. (Pat) O’Toole, Denny J. (Karen) O’Toole, John E. (Pat) O’Toole; 9 sisters, Mary Therese Kendra, Mary Alice Klozik, Mary Kathryn (Wes) Sensiba, Maureen A. Lienert, Jean M. (Ken) Fowler, Molly (Steve) Parker, Karen “Kitty” M. (Joe) Ryznar, Shelley A. (Dennis) Holland, Sarah M. Urbano. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James G. Toth; her second husband, Dan E. Klairter; her parents; 2 brothers, James J. O’Toole and Kevin P. O’Toole; and 1 sister, Peggy M. Shields. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, November 13, 2020 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) with Rev. Charles D. Hall presiding. Visitation with social distancing will be held one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Mausoleum. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
