Dixie Ann Sedgley's Obituary
Dixie Ann Sedgley, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was born on October 13, 1942 to James and Fern (Peters) McCollum, Sr. in Muskegon. Dixie was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, trips to the casinos but most of all, she loved her family. On October 25, 1958, she married the love of her life, David Ralph Sedgley, Sr. They spent 52 wonderful years together until his passing in 2010. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Dixie is survived by her children, Dave (Sandy) Sedgley, Dawn (Mike) Jones, Dee (Bryan) Six; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Ken (Steph) Jones, Dave (Lisa) Sedgley, Scott (Lauren) Sedgley, Geoff Sedgley, Greg (Sharon Erxleben) Jones, Justin (Natalie Zimmer) Sedgley, Jake (Nina) Six, Samuel (Kendra) Six, Sarah Six, Luke Six; great-grandchildren, Trever, Willow, Makayla, Carter, Reed, Delilah; brothers, Hank (Helen) McCollum, Bill (Kathy) McCollum; good friend and cousin, Sandra Riley; and good friends, Jack (Shirley) Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Pat Miller, James “Cricket” McCollum, Sheree McCollum. A MEMORIAL MASS will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Thomas Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave.) at 2:00 PM. VISITATION with the family will take place an hour prior to services.
