Dolores "Dee" Baldwin's Obituary
Dolores “Dee” Baldwin, 94, took her last breath on earth on August 29, 2022, and took her next breath in Heaven. She was born March 5, 1928, to Clyde and Grace (Dodds) Kelley in Muskegon Heights. In 1946 she graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and held various positions at Continental Aviation, the Norge, the Muskegon County Register of Deeds, and the Health Department. Her favorite hobbies were reading, antique shopping, and doing volunteer work at Mona Shores Schools, Hackley Cherry Guild, and Heartland Nursing Home in Whitehall. She attended the Evangelical Covenant Church in Whitehall. She was married to Kenneth Baldwin on September 4, 1982, and he preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by her daughter Cherie (Kim) Zavitz; Stepson: David (Becky) Baldwin; grandchildren: Kara (Neal) Phillips, Lindsey (Kenny) Lane, Ryan Havermans; great-grandchildren: Noah Havermans and Ella Grace Lane. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Robert Havermans; two sons: Mark Havermans, infant Thomas Havermans; her stepfather Max, her parents Clyde and Grace, and brothers Eldon and Richard Kelley. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held per her wishes. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Baldwin may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI, 49444.
