Dolores "Dee" J. Kramer's Obituary
Dolores “Dee” June Kramer, age 85, passed away peacefully at home and was received into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born on August 20, 1936, to Lloyd and Mona (Briggs) Pixley in Muskegon. On February 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Randall Louis Kramer, and together they spent 54 loving years together until his passing in January of 2012. Dee was a longtime, active member of Calvary Church, having lovingly taught the two-year olds’ Sunday School class for many, many years, faithfully served as the church’s AWANA club secretary for 35 years, and ministered as a deaconess and prayer warrior; more recently she enjoyed attending Bridge Bible Church North Campus. In the past, Dee had enjoyed golfing and fall steelhead fishing with Randy; she also loved spending time with her family, watching and attending Detroit Tigers ball games, camping, bowling, and attending her grandchildren’s and greatgrandchildren’s events. She was an avidly accurate record-keeper. She enjoyed Christian music, Bible reading and Bible study—especially prophecy and the end times, and she prayed passionately for her beloved family; it was the desire of her heart that each of her loved ones would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Dolores is survived by her children, Deborah (Michael) Stenberg, Lyn (Darryl) Sample, James (Paula) Kramer, and Paul (Laura Bernardini) Kramer; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren by marriage and in-love; and her sister, Corina DeYoung. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randall Kramer; sister, Wanda Gundy; and her brother, Lloyd Pixley, Jr.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Dee will take place on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Bridge Bible Church – Dalton Campus (3777 Holton Rd.) at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
