Mrs Dolores Viola DeNio's Obituary
Dolores Viola DeNio, age 82 passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Dolores was born on June 16, 1934 to Edwin and Marian Winter. In 1954 she married David DeNio and together they were blessed with 62 years of marriage and 6 daughters. She was a member at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She made prayer shawls and hats that where given as donations for the church. Dolores was also a member of TOPS. She enjoyed cooking, western movies, reading, watching golf, traveling, gardening, knitting, and collecting teddy bears. Dolores was a patient, compassionate, forgiving, faithful woman of God. She will be deeply missed. Dolores is survived by her husband David; daughters, Delraye DeNio, Dorinda (Al) Hinton, Drusilla (Keith) Read, Darlene (Rodney) Glassner, Debra Oakes, and Dawn Coffee; grandchildren, Bruce (Jenna) Adam, Sarah, Seth, Bridgette, Travis (Jamie), Arron (Sadie) and Luke; 2 great-grandchildren, Audrey and Lyle; and her and David’s loving dogs Holly and Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dallas and Joseph Winter; and sister, ElJean McRaney. A MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 11am at St. Thomas the Apostle 3252 Apple Ave. VISITATION will take place on Wednesday from 5-7PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 A donation to Mercy VNS Hospice can be made in Dolores’ name.
