Dolores A. LeBaron's Obituary
Dolores A. LeBaron, age 83, was received with the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior on June 26, 2021. She was born March 26, 1938 in Byron Center, Michigan to James and Josephine Vasquez. Dolores or “Dee” as she was affectionately called by most was a woman who loved fiercely with all her heart. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Frank LeBaron Sr, whom she married on March 13, 1975 in Muskegon, MI. They have been inseparable for 46 years, not only in the physical sense, but also in heart and soul. Together they made years full of memories they could cherish always. Dee was known to have a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting with Frank. She also enjoyed baking, online shopping and playing cards. Sundays were always reserved for niece and nephew, especially Sue and Dan to come over and play a few rounds of hand and foot. Above all things, she was a woman who loved her family dearly. She loved her daughter, Caroline Vandenbosch almost to a fault and adored her son-in-law, Mike. The love of her life were her grandson’s Levi and Holt Walchuk of Montana. Dee had many she considered family that were not biological but adopted by the heart. She will always be remembered as a doting wife, loving mother, wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, and dear friend to many. Her tender-loving and comforting spirit will truly be missed. She is survived by her husband, Frank LeBaron Sr; daughter, Caroline (Michael) Vandenbosch; 2 grandsons, Levi Walchuk and Holt Walchuk; 2 great-grandchildren, Ross Walchuk and Ryon Walchuk; 15 nieces, 5 nephews; 6 grand-nieces; and 6 grand-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law or better known as card playing buddies, Tom (Hazel) DeVanney; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. She was the last to be welcomed home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A visitation with the family will be held one-hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dolores’ honor can be made to an animal charity of your choice. Share memories with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
