Mrs. Dolores T. Meadley's Obituary
Dolores T. Meadley, age 84, passed away Monday morning at a Grand Rapids hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Muskegon on May 10, 1927 to Victor and Tressa (Benjamen) Lane and was a graduate of Muskegon Heights H.S. Dolores was employed as a clerk at the City of Muskegon Heights Police Department for 29 years and was a former member of Lakeside United Methodist Church. Mrs. Meadley was preceded in death by her, parents; four brothers, Duane, James, Victor and Benjamin; former husbands, Harold Scott and Allen Meadley; and her longtime companion, Fay McDonald. She is survived by: three children, Patricia (David) TenBrink of Muskegon, Michael Scott of Rockford, MI and Stuart Meadley of Muskegon; four grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Lillmars of Norton Shores and Janet (John) Knoll of Twin Lake. The funeral service for Mrs. Meadley will be held at the Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. - Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 with Pastor Bill Rudd officiating. Visitation: one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
