Dolores Alice Moore's Obituary
Mrs. Dolores Alice Moore, age 87, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020. She was born in Muskegon on September 26, 1932 to Frank and Zelda (Cuykendall) Arcioni. On August 11, 1951, Dolores married Emmett Moore, Sr. and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2001. Dolores had worked as a nurses aid, office clerk, and at Bill Mar for many years prior to her retirement. She then spent many years volunteering with Harbor Hospice, Red Cross, and at the Frauenthal Theatre. Dolores enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She is survived by four children, Linda (Doug) Delaney, Steve (Trish) Moore, Emmett (Suzanne) Moore, Jr, and Peggy (Rex) Malarik; 14 grandchildren, Sarah (Tony) Gill, Brian (Lisa) Delaney, Lisa (Matthew) Brady, Joseph Delaney, Stephanie (Jeff) Bridenstine, Robin Moore, Steve (Jamie) Moore, Christian (Laura) Hodges, Emmett (Michelle) Moore, II, Eric (Tahra) Moore, Jennifer Miesch, Whitney Malarik, Seth Malarik, Stormy Malarik; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Zelda Tiefenthal. In addition to her husband, Emmett, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robin Moore; two brothers, Louis and William Arcioni; and three sisters, Rosemary Wiard, Ann Link, and Francis Frennette. VISITATION will be from 3-6 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 and one hour prior to Mass at church on Monday. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday, August 24, 2020 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church (239 W. Clay Ave., Muskegon, MI 49440) with Rev. Matthew Barnum presiding.
