Dolores Marie Nelson's Obituary
Ms. Dolores Marie Nelson, age 88, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on April 15, 1935 to Donald and Virginia (Brown) Nelson. Dolores graduated from Hackley School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan and Hackley Hospital prior to her retirement in 2001. She was a member of Harbor of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed quilting with her friends in the women’s group. She is survived by her sister, Diana (Robert) Brondyke; sister-in-law, Laverne Nelson; eight nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Larry and Dan Nelson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2024 at Harbor of Grace Lutheran Church (1132 W. Southern Ave., Muskegon, MI 49441). Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
