Ms. Dolores M. Oliver's Obituary
Ms. Dolores Marie Oliver, age 79, passed away Sunday morning, March 17, 2013 at an area care facility, with her daughters by her side. Dolores was born August 22, 1933 to Anthony and Margaret (Kufta) Magiera in Detroit, MI. She worked in the office of Carpenter’s Steel for many years prior to her retirement. Dolores moved to the West Michigan area in 2009. She enjoyed golfing, reading, crocheting, and watching her grandchildren grow up. Most importantly, she was a mother and a wonderful homemaker. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Janet Bachleda of West Bloomfield, MI, and Judy Conroy of Norton Shores; 5 grandchildren, Daniel Bachleda, Jillian Bachleda, Adam (Jaimee) Conroy, Erica (Michael) Kaiser, and Kathryn (Michael) Vanderpoel; 7 great grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Landon, Andrew, Rylan, Tyler and Peyton; 2 nieces, Elaine Cassisi and Diane Berent; and 2 nephews, Charles and Richard Bowden. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Ann Bowden. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 Saturday, March 23, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI, (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Mark Bush officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service (10-11 AM). A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held and Interment will be made in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI at a later date.
