Dolores H. Moran's Obituary
Mrs. Dolores H. Moran, age 73, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 20, 2009, at her home. She was born November 10, 1935 to Ivan William and Donnel (Dryer) Wade in Muskegon. Dolores was in the first graduating class of Muskegon Catholic Central in 1954. She later worked as a receptionist for Liberty Life in Muskegon and at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. On November 11, 1961 she married Donald Moran at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskegon. Dolores was a long time environmentalist who was active in supporting many local and global environmental issues. She is SURVIVED by her husband of 47 years, Donald; her 2 sons, Donald (Kim) Moran Jr. of Grand Rapids and Wade (Cherrill) Moran of Tempe, AZ; 2 grandsons, Sean and Collin; her sister, Diane Mergle of Elk Grove Village, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ivan Wade Jr. A PRIVATE FAMILY MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held at a later date.
